Yoga Therapy Sessions
In short, this is like therapy but with yoga.
It is a holistic approach to health where each person is responsible for their own health journey, and the yoga therapist can offer tools, guidance and encouragement to make the changes needed for your own health.
In the Sivananda tradition, we follow the simple, yet profound teaching of

As well, we use teachings from the the 4 paths of yoga:
Raja yoga, the yoga of the mind, Bhakti yoga, the yoga of the heart, Karma yoga, the yoga of the body, and Jnana yoga, the yoga of the intellect
With these amazing tools, as well as Ayurveda, yoga therapy will give you the power to connect with and head towards peace with yourSelf.

Sessions last 90 minutes.
They can be done virtually, in my home studio in Cantley (recommended), or possibly in your space.

Yoga therapy differs from a yoga class as the therapist knows the story of each client and can tailor the program to specific goals.
Initially, it is recommended to commit for 5 sessions. In the first session we discuss your goals. The session continues with the intake which is a question and answer session where you can share your story.
The following sessions will be part yoga class, and part theory/discussion/workshop. Yoga class can be postures, joint or breathing exercises, yoga nidra (deep relaxation), affirmation creation, self inquiry exercises, and more.
Each session will give you tools to work with on your own to bring you closer to your goals.
