Adapted Yoga Teacher Training Course
Yoga for Any Body!
Michael Hutkins (Anjaneya)

Yoga isn’t something people need to adapt to—it’s inherently flexible, welcoming everyone regardless of age, injury, or perceived limitations. This training is your opportunity to break barriers and make yoga accessible to all, empowering you to adapt the practice to meet the unique needs of your students without compromising its profound benefits.

What You’ll Learn:
How to create inclusive, adaptable yoga classes for students of all abilities.
Observing and understanding group dynamics to offer modifications seamlessly, maintaining the flow of the class.
Effective methodologies for working with students facing mobility challenges, injuries, chronic pain, heart conditions, anxiety, or pregnancy.
Designing sequences for students starting later in life or with varying fitness levels.

Philosophy Meets Practice: This training goes beyond the physical practice, exploring the deeper roots of yoga. You’ll dive into the philosophy behind the poses, classical yoga teachings, and how to bring yoga into daily life. Learn how to:

Sequence classes for diverse needs.
Adapt common postures with purpose and precision.
Support back care, chronic pain, and psychological challenges.
Teach the philosophy of asanas and how they cultivate inner peace.
Apply the 4 paths of yoga to life beyond the mat.
Use the 8 limbs of yoga as tools for acceptance and personal growth.
You will learn to teach the classical sun salutation for students who can not go on the floor, for students who can use a chair to go up and down and for students who need a more gentle version with no props. This is an important theme of the training – how all students can move together in their own way!

Why This Training Stands Out:

Led by Anjaneya, a passionate teacher with over 20 years of experience, this course is infused with joy and a deep belief that yoga is for everyone. Anjaneya’s energy is contagious, and his approach will give you the confidence to share yoga with those who never thought it was possible. Beyond asanas, you’ll learn how to address root causes of discomfort and guide your students toward holistic well-being.

Benefits of the Program:
Confidence to offer safe, effective variations for any student.
Skills to design or adjust sequences on the spot, based on who shows up to your class.

The ability to share yoga with individuals who thought they couldn’t practice—whether due to injury, chronic pain, or other challenges.
Enhanced observation skills to make your teaching fluid, graceful, and inclusive.

Join this inspiring training and become the teacher who opens the door to yoga for everyone. With the tools and insights you’ll gain, you’ll help students rediscover their potential and experience the life-changing benefits of yoga.In the training we will address common physical issues that will need accommodation in class, for example: injuries, ageing, lack of mobility, osteoporosis, arthritis, and more. Learning to create skillful modifications for those needing a more accessible practice, some coming to yoga for the first time, will allow for teachers to offer the gifts of yoga with confidence to anyone joining their classes. Adapting to the needs in the room will allow for a strong, challenging, but equally relaxed and meditative practice.
